About us

We have been showing, handling, judging and working Gundogs (with birds of prey and gun) for over 30 years. We are a very select family kennel and enjoy spending quality time with our dogs who are very much part of our two households. Our dogs are an important part of our family and interact with each other and especially love to socialise with the children. We own four breeds with Donna and Neil having Miniature Wirehaired Dachshunds and Large Munsterlanders, Gordon and Janet having German Wirehaired Pointers and Chinese Crested dogs. We now only breed from our mini wire and GWPs.

We have a wide knowledge of the HPR breeds owning GSP's, GWP's and Large Munsterlanders for many years. We started HPR's with our GSP's, making up a show champion while working with our birds of prey and winning the KCJO Gundog stakes group twice at the Crufts finals and overall winner on one of those occasions with Donna. Our GSP also represented Scotland in the KCJO Obedience at Crufts. Janet and Donna both award CC's at championship shows and have judged across the country.

To ensure the development of our breeds we only breed with completely health tested and suitable dogs, then only when we feel we are improving our bloodlines. We only use dogs that we have personally checked and if possible their parents and other offspring, Health and Temperament are very vitally important to us. We are very selective where our puppies go.
